Police have made an emergency declaration following a fire in Capalaba this evening.
Shortly before 6pm, emergency services responded to reports of a fire at an electronics store on Tombo Street.
A declaration was made under the Public Safety and Preservation Act 6.25pm and in encompasses the boundaries of Newman Road, Steel Street, Christine Place and India Street.
Police are asking people to avoid the area and close any windows and doors due to the smoke.
