On your marks, get set…GO!
On Saturday, May 12 the Emergency Services parkrun was held at the Wishart Community Park.
Police, firies and ambos all got together to take part in the event which involved over 300 people.
Three awards were given out with QPS taking out prizes for being first across the line and having the best attendance!

QFES took home the award for best spirit with their strategic presence of their fire truck and use of their sirens to start the race.
Sergeant Mick Morier who organised the event said it was a great opportunity for the QPS to meet together socially outside the context of an emergency situation.
It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all participants.
The event was warmly received by members of the public who enjoyed the ability to show appreciation for emergency service personnel with the event’s
